THE OPPORTUNITY

CONTEXT:This is an exciting opportunity to join Ivalua as a Solution Expert to join our fast-growing Center of Excellence Team part of the Solution Consulting Organization, in the US. 

Reporting to the Center of Excellence Manager, the Solution Expert role is a regional role that supports Solution Consultants with problem solving customer requirements to complete demos that meet/exceed needs and highlight the power of the Ivalua platform/solutions. 

The Solution Expert should have a balance of business process, functional and technical capabilities on the Ivalua products.  

The Solution Expert helps Solution Consultants during the sales cycle on reviewing the project’s scope, make quotations on non-standard features, challenge requirements with best practices.

The Solution Expert works directly with the solution configurators, but also should be capable of doing "deep" configurations on their own. 

ROLE:

The Center of Excellence team is a key part of the Solution Consulting function, supporting the global Solution Consulting operation to build product-based solutions. These solutions illustrate the full capability of the Ivalua source-to-pay platform, meet customer requirements and differentiate us from our competitors.

WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US

• Support the business during sales cycle:
  • Support on configuration that makes the difference.
  • Be creative, challenging and propose workarounds.
  • Transform POC (Proof of Concept) to a winning exercise, from the strategy to the implementation..
  • Support on Project’s scope definition.
  • Provide quotation for non-standard feature
• Ability to understand Functional requirements and translate it into the solution.
• Be the technical and functional expert of Ivalua solution.
• Collaborate with Industry Team / R&D to enrich the roadmap.
• Work with individual Solution Consultants to help them configure specific scenarios to meet use cases and requirements of specific customers

YOUR PROFILE

• 4+ Years of experience in Ivalua implementation (Functional and Technical).
• Experience with procurement processes.
• Ability to understand Functional requirement and translate it into the solution
• Be creative, challenging and propose workaround.
• SQL, database management, workflow & ETL configuration experience. You will be required to demonstrate these skills during the interview process.
• Ability to listen attentively and communicate effectively with colleagues in different teams is essential
• Limited travel may be necessary (~5%
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, OR Master’s degree in relevant field with a minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience, OR Equivalent combination of education and experience

The compensation range for this position is based upon careful and continual market compensation research. In addition to location, compensation may also vary based upon job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Title: Solution Expert

Base Range minimum: $105,000

Base Range maximum: $195,000

Additional compensation / rewards: Ivalua offers an annual target bonus for this position conditional on individual and company performance. Other compensation factors may also be considered. Ivalua also offers exceptional benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement (with company match), and much more.
