We are looking for experienced pre-sales professionals who have a successful track record of helping large enterprises become more data-driven. Working with the Account Executive, the Solution Architect defines and directs the technical strategy for our largest and most important customers, leading to more widespread and deeper adoption of data intelligence. We are seeking to expand our SA team with individuals who are hands-on and understand value selling to help our customers succeed using Databricks. You will be part of a team that builds proofs of concepts and demonstrates Databricks' products within a range of use cases important to the Communications, Media & Entertainment space.

The impact you will have:

  • You will work with 2-6 customers as the main technical voice for Databricks
  • You will lead your customers on a transformational journey, helping them to evaluate and adopt Databricks as part of their digital strategy
  • You will drive the technical strategy within an account
  • Help customers become technical champions within their organization
  • Provide structured mentorship and collaboration for other team members

What we look for:

  • Experience working with large (> $1m ARR) customers, ideally from the Communications or Media & Entertainment industry
  • Interested in being hands-on and learning big data, data science, and cloud technologies
  • An ability to understand data-driven business transformation and drive change with data
  • Experience with design and implementation experience in big data technologies or full lifecycle data science solutions
  • Maintain and extend production data systems to evolve with complex customer needs
  • Programming exposure in SQL, Python, R, Scala, or Java
  • Nice to have: Databricks Certification

Pay Range Transparency

The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
