We are looking for technologists to join our Pre-Sales organization to ensure that our growth is grounded and guided by strong technical alignment with our platform and the needs of our customers

This role can be based out of our Mumbai office or remotely in the Mumbai region.

As an ideal candidate, you will have
  • Partner SA: (India)
    • 6+ years of experience in the industry
    • 2+ years of software development experience 
    • 2+ years of pre-sales experience with enterprise software
    • 1+ years of experience working with Cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft or Google) 
  • Ability to work with Startups to advise them at all levels of the organization
  • Good understanding of how a startup ecosystem works
  • Good understanding of AI/ML in terms of the model life cycle, machine learning frameworks, LLM, and RAG architectures
  • Working knowledge and ability to code with two or more modern scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, SQL) and popular programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, C#) 
  • Acute understanding of integration, and scalability concepts for highly available distributed systems 
  • The ability to travel up to 30%
What you do at MongoDB
  • Work with promising startups and our startup programs team to help them launch their partnership with MongoDB
  • Design systems, applications, and infrastructure to help drive some of the software development projects leveraging MongoDB 
  • Advise engineering teams for our Startup partners on design best practices and strategies for making the best use of MongoDB 
  • Confidently articulate the business value of MongoDB solutions
  • Translate technical concepts and patterns into business benefits for management and executives 
  • Act as a liaison, gathering feedback from the field to relay back to the Product Management team
  • You will have the opportunity to help drive demand through participation in both industry-known trade shows and account-based marketing events
  • Work with startups to train them on MongoDB technology
  • Proactively seek opportunities to support and mentor other pre-sales team members and share best practices
Particularly with Ecosystem Partners
  • Partner with our startup account teams to help ensure success in closing new strategic partners and growing existing ones
  • Align with MongoDB field teams in conjunction with partner sales teams to help end customers realize the combined value of MongoDB and our partners to solve their business problems
  • Work with partner onboarding teams to qualify new partners regarding integration and offering
  • Defining joint value propositions with our partners and work with them to demonstrate them via technical blogs, webinars, and live events
  • Work with product teams with specific feedback from partners that use MongoDB to help move the innovation forward
  • Understand the importance of a strong sense of urgency reflected through the ability to drive partner demand within the sales territory
  • Align with strategic partners continuously to advise on best practices and feedback
  • Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and respond appropriately to partner objections
  • You are seen as a “Trusted Advisor” with technical partner stakeholders
  • Participating in Co-founder partner conversations
  • Align to provide proactive responses to help partners understand the solution and identify positive business outcomes
