The position is part-time, with a workload of 20-25 hours/week. The new hire will be part of our Localization Team within Web Development, reporting to our Localization Manager. We offer a high degree of flexibility and a hybrid work policy.

Your Tasks

  • Your main task is to localize and review translations from English to Spanish for different marketing content assets. The key topics are related to privacy legislation in the EU and beyond, and technology and software that enable organizations and website owners to comply
  • You will maintain our content updated and SEO-optimized, partnering with SEO and web experts
  • You will ensure that our texts really cater to and resonate with the Spanish audience, avoiding literal translations while preserving accuracy
  • Other ad-hoc tasks may show up from time to time, such as researching on Spanish media outlets, enhancing our Spanish Google Ads, writing shorter articles in Spanish, etc

You Bring

  • You bring at least 2 years of experience in marketing/comms translations and/or content creation in your mother tongue, Spanish, preferably in the tech or legal industry
  • You are familiar with privacy tech, software and EU law
  • You have a university degree in translation studies, Spanish language, communication, marketing, journalism, or a relevant field
  • You enjoy the challenge of localizing in-depth texts and making complex matters intelligible and pleasant to read about. You know how Spanish customers and prospects should be addressed and what they expect from a company like Usercentrics
  • You are a fluent writer who speaks and writes perfect Spanish, with impeccable grammar and an innate “sense for language”
  • You are efficient but also thorough and detail-oriented. You are personable and dependable
