Specialist, Marketing Campaign Operations

The Marketing Campaign Operations Specialist will be instrumental in enhancing Pure's operational efficiency. This role leverages top-tier platforms like Marketo and SFDC, along with tools such as Knak for email, Zendesk for ticketing, and Workato for automation, to ensure ongoing optimization. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Campaign Operations, the specialist will be part of a team of six production experts, dedicated to supporting the marketing team’s global campaign needs. This position specifically focuses on supporting the EMEA Marketing team and requires working within EMEA hours.

 

In This Role You Will:

  • Design and manage audience segmentation and audience list logic in Marketo for targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Develop, test, and optimize emails using Knak, ensuring alignment with marketing goals.
  • Apply basic HTML skills to create and modify email templates for various campaigns.
  • Create and manage email nurture programs to engage and convert leads.
  • Execute and manage promotional and operational smart campaigns.
  • Conduct A/B testing to enhance email delivery rates and conversion effectiveness.
  • Build and oversee comprehensive email campaigns in Marketo, including landing pages, templates, forms, workflows, and audience list management.
  • Analyze email performance, including audience targeting, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor lead flow post-campaign in SFDC, addressing or reporting any issues that arise.
  • Troubleshoot and QA campaigns, automation, and other critical marketing operations tasks, such as process documentation.
  • Generate detailed reports on Marketo email campaign performance and share insights with the Marketing team via the ticketing system.
  • Contribute creative ideas to enhance marketing strategies and develop process documentation as required.
  • Uphold governance standards with marketing requesters and offer insights for process improvement.

What You’ll Need To Bring To This Role

  • 5-7 years of experience in Marketing Operations, preferably within the technology industry or a similar B2B setting.
  • Proven ability to manage expectations, navigate stakeholder discussions as a SME, and incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders while handling multiple email tickets.
  • Experience with Marketo or similar email automation platforms (e.g., Eloqua) is required.
  • Proficient in using SFDC or a comparable CRM tool.
  • Strong customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML is required.
  • A collaborative team player with a motivated mindset, eager to learn and committed to personal and professional growth.
  • Knowledge of GDPR is a plus!
