MongoDB continues to grow incredibly fast. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Specialist to play a key role within MongoDB. This is the perfect opportunity to roll up your sleeves and have a positive impact at a hyper-growth company. In this high-impact role, you will work closely with internal functions, including Finance and Accounting, HR, and our Global Payroll teams, to improve and establish processes and systems for our next growth stage. This will be a very hands-on role, reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, and will help support the build-out and ongoing administration of our global payroll team.
We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Gurugram Office for our hybrid working model.
ResponsibilitiesThis position requires a driven individual with refined communications skills and exceptional business acumen. He or she must be able to work independently and drive to follow up and follow through with increasing volume.
- Assist with preparing the monthly payroll for our International (APAC/EMEA) operations.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of approved timesheets
- Process employee changes, tax changes, commissions, referral rewards, and bonus payments
- Assist with onboarding data entry in all HR systems (ADP, SuccessFactors, etc)
- Maintain employee records in all HR Systems; ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis; ensure accuracy of payroll data in our HRIS
- Run regular audits to ensure the accuracy of payroll data in our HRIS
- Prepare timely and accurate annual reporting to meet various local requirements
- Provide effective partnerships and serve as a point of contact for internal and external queries
- Manage payroll vendors and payroll interfaces to benefits providers
- Assist the Payroll team with mass employee changes and data clean-up
- Assist Finance with reconciling payroll-related items and general ledger accounts
- All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and Google Applications
- 4-6 years of APAC/EMEA payroll experience
- Fast and accurate data entry skills are essential
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to support cross-functional and global operations
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with ADP Streamline/ ADP Celergo and SuccessFactors is preferable
- Understand payroll and HR legislation and processes ie. interpretation of legislation and taxes
