YOUR MISSION

As an Specialties Lead , you will be a key role in the Glovo Q-commerce team. You will be directly responsible to build and maintain good relationships between our Specialties partners and our company. You will be liaising with the most important speciality stores and chains in Poland.

THE JOURNEY

  • The Specialties Team Lead combines leadership with hands-on engagement, driving the growth of small and medium-sized accounts. Reporting to the Q-commerce Director in Poland.  
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor Specialties Account Managers and Sales Executives, ensuring they meet performance and development goals.
  • Have a P&L responsibility and own 360º Specialties business in Poland.
  • Directly manage top to top relationships with several most important Specialties Chains in Poland.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance the growth and retention of Specialties partners.
  • Support your team during negotiations, sales, providing expertise to close deals and maintain partner satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with HQ and the regional teams in Poland to ensure alignment with global and local goals.
  • Drive operational improvements for Specialties accounts, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality support and services.
  • Track and analyze team performance metrics, providing actionable insights and reporting progress to the HQ and Q-commerce Director.
  • Build scalable processes tailored to the unique needs of Specialties accounts, optimizing efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Lead your team to greatness - hire top talents, help them perform, grow and develop as professionals
  • Lead and own specific country-level KPIs, ensuring their execution through direct involvement and leadership.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • At least 5 years of experience in a fast-paced environment (start-ups, FMCG, retail, telecoms, advertising, food-hospitality, consulting etc.)
  • At least 1 year of experience in managing people
  • Strategic thinking - you don’t just manage partners; you help them grow.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - you understand complex client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Data-driven mentality: Take decisions based on data and make business judgment when necessary
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills - you know how to influence and build long-term relationships.
  • You’re comfortable working in a high-growth and high-performance start-up environment.
  • You have Polish proficiency and a very good command of English.
