Sponsorships & Events Manager, DocSend
As Sponsorship and Events Manager on the Dropbox DocSend team, you will own the strategy, execution, and goals for sponsorship initiatives and internal and external events, including conferences, seminars, webinars, and digital sponsorships.
You’ll proactively identify opportunities for sponsorship and meeting presence aligned with DocSend’s strategic priorities and partner with teams across DocSend marketing and the wider business to orchestrate a sponsorship and events calendar that helps meet our business goals. You’ll also work with partners across DocSend marketing to develop pre-, during, and post-event campaigns to ensure a thoughtful, engaging experience designed to turn leads into DocSend customers.
As the owner of our events and sponsorship strategy, you’ll also manage the sponsorship and events budget, and work with our Marketing Analytics team to track and analyze the performance of these initiatives, using this information to evaluate their success and impact on brand awareness and ROI, and optimize future campaigns.
This is a highly cross-functional role, and the successful candidate will be expected to interface with a broad array of internal teams from both DocSend and Dropbox. Responsibilities- Own strategy, execution, and goals for internal and external events (virtual and in-person) and sponsorship initiatives, including conferences, seminars, webinars, and digital sponsorships.
- Manage event and sponsorship budget, including tracking spend against forecast, budget reconciliation, and getting sponsors and vendors onboarded through Dropbox’s procurement and legal process.
- Proactively research and identify opportunities for sponsorships, aligned with DocSend’s strategic priorities.
- Vet and secure sponsorship, exhibiting, and speaking opportunities while partnering with DocSend Marketing and other key stakeholders within the business (Partnerships, Product, Field & Channel, Customer Marketing) to orchestrate an events calendar that helps meet our business goals.
- Work with the Marketing Analytics team to track and analyze the performance of events and sponsorships, using this information to evaluate their success and impact on brand awareness and ROI.
- Manage stakeholder communications, including creating project plans, conducting launch meetings, coordinating co-marketing opportunities, and reporting on performance.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in event marketing and/or sponsorships, with a proven track record of successfull pre-, during, and post-event campaign execution
- Experience developing and executing virtual events end-to-end, including concept, promotion, execution, and post-event promotion follow-up
- Excellent project management skills: Runs a tight ship in their work and is detail-oriented when it comes to process

- Experience with DocSend’s core audiences (startup fundraising, venture capital/capital markets) strongly desired.

Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
Current Salary/OTE Ranges (Subject to change):C$98,200 - C$115,500 - C$132,800
