The Wow

We are currently looking for an Automation Engineer to help us build and support our Brands quality coverage. As part of an end-to-end team, you will be applying your automation skills to cover a wide range of scenarios involving commercial and regulatory components, making sure no bugs reach our production environment and the need for manual coverage is reduced.

You will also be responsible for contributing to our codebase directly, making changes to our components as necessary to increase our quality robustness.

A flavour of what you'll be doing
  • Develop and Maintain Quality Frameworks: Build and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks to ensure high-quality software releases
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to embed quality practices throughout the development lifecycle, proactively driving quality-focused initiatives
  • Enhance CI/CD Processes: Implement and improve quality gates within the CI/CD pipeline to catch defects early and ensure seamless integration and deployment
  • Drive Quality in Development: Monitor quality requirements during the development process, taking ownership of projects related to software quality and performance
  • Hands-On Development: Engage directly with the product codebase, implementing changes to improve quality coverage, enhance robustness, and reduce time-to-market
  • Test and Validate Software: Design and execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability
  • Documentation and Tracking: Actively manage issue tracking, test case management, and quality documentation to uphold high standards
  You are good at
  • 2+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or a similar role
  • Solid understanding of quality methodologies, best practices, and techniques for achieving comprehensive code coverage
  • Proficiency in Playwright or Puppeteer for end-to-end testing
  • Strong coding skills in TypeScript and JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions (or similar)
  • Familiarity with Test Management tools like TestRail for organizing and tracking test cases
  • Experience with issue tracking tools like JIRA and documentation tools like Confluence
  • A self-starter mindset, strong analytical skills, and a positive “can-do” attitude
  Extra awesome
  • A strong passion for testing
  • Experience with BDD practices
  • ISTQB Certificate
  • Familiarity with online gambling platforms, especially sports betting applications
  • Experience with frontend libraries/frameworks such as Angular
