Are you a UX Researcher/User Researcher/Researcher looking for your next challenge? Our Sportsbook team within Product Development is now hiring! We have a world-class Sportsbook, developed in-house by our dedicated Sportsbook tech team. Our Sportsbook Platform is ours – from our Architecture to our Trading teams – we have an in-house platform which hosts our brands offering Sports betting for our customers. From the tools our traders use to the cutting edge features our customers use to bet on various sports – our teams are the backbone to making this happen!

As a UX Researcher for the sportsbook product, you will work across multiple brands in multiple markets serving millions of customers. As part of a dynamic user centered department the User Research team plays a crucial role in driving a customer-first approach. You will work with product designers as well as developers, product analysts, product managers/owners and other stakeholders. 

This is a key role in our journey to become even more user centric in product development. You will be one of the main drivers for all user research regarding our Sportsbook in all our markets. You will work closely with our User Research Manager and for the right candidate this is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the research team and research processes at Betsson Group.  

  A taster of what you will be doing
  • Set the global research agenda and plan for Sportsbook, together with our User Research Manager. Determine what questions we need to answer in relation to the initiatives we are working on, when these need to be answered and using which research methods, etc.
  • Lead the conception, planning, implementation and analysis of both qualitative and quantitative projects.
  • Together with Product Owners/Product Managers/Product Designers help discover and identify product opportunities based on user insights.
  • Facilitate data driven prioritization decisions.
  • Work together with agencies in the execution of different global research activities
  • Set up and maintain user panels and insight communities that can be used for quick iterations during product discovery.
  • Help transform insights gained from user research into formats to enhance organizational understanding of our users.
  • Help create reports and spread user insights as well as the message of user-centric development across the company.
  Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ of experience from UX Research/User Research/Research; Either from industry or consulting
  • Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, and preferably also experience of user-centric development of digital products
  • Familiarity with modern UX Research tools such as Ballpark, Askable, UserTesting, Hotjar, UXtweak or similar is valuable
  • You should have a passion for sports and/or willingness to learn about the sports betting industry
  • Relevant University degree or similar from renowned University
  • Experienced facilitator, presenter, and communicator both in spoken and written English (Betsson corporate language).

At Betsson Group we work with a Hybrid Work From Home (WFH) model, giving you the flexibility of working 3 days in the office (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and 2 days from home.
