Sr. Accountant, International
About The Role:This Senior Accountant will manage 3 smaller entities world wide for Month end close, Compliance, Tax, Reporting and Audit and other staff questions.
What You'll Do:- Record and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Liaising with payroll partners to ensure that all compliances in and around payroll (e.g. Payroll forms, perquisite filings, shared based disclosures, etc.) are complied with on time and accurately.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements of respective entities.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of balances and investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
- Provide insights and explanations for variances in financial and accounting metrics.
- Prepare documentation and support for internal and external audits, including local compliances for each location.
- Find opportunities for process improvements within the R2R process.
- Implement and supervise internal controls within the R2R process.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or business administration.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in international accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of international accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations (EMEA).
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and enterprise accounting software.
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and consolidations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across cultures.
- Able to work independently on Audit and Compliances for entities in EMEA and APAC.
- Exposure on the international payroll.
