As an ecommerce company, almost all of a customer’s interactions with Wayfair are digital, but increasingly consumers want to interact more deeply with brands. That’s where the Offline Marketing team comes in: we use rich, sensory touchpoints to connect with our customer  through audio, print, TV, streaming video, experiential, and other mediums. While millions of customers already interact with our existing offline ads each month, we have recently launched Audio advertising, allowing us to expand our reach with our customer in another deeply engaging channel. 

As a Senior Analyst on the team, you will have the opportunity to drive the execution and performance of our new Audio channel in a high-visibility role. You’ll make a large impact on Wayfair through innovative testing and continuous optimization. The ideal candidate is strong in both quantitative and qualitative analysis, has excellent written and verbal communication, is results-driven, and excels at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

 

What you’ll do:

- Support a multi-million dollar advertising channel, identified as a top business priority, including driving the strategy, execution and measurement. 

- Support the the end-to-end process of a marketing campaign: building a media plan (including targeting and distribution), determining creative strategy, and reporting on efficiency and sharing learnings

- Institute rigorous test-and-learn methodology to achieve desired results

- Utilize our advanced in-house measurement capabilities to understand the impact of each marketing campaign & co-create innovative measurement techniques to improve our understanding of (and therefore maximize) ROI.

- Work cross-functionally with key stakeholder teams, including Creative, Data Science, and Marketing Technology.

- Manage multiple sizable external partners, including music platforms/apps, podcast networks, strategic agency partnerships, etc. on campaign strategy, execution, measurement, and pricing. 

 

What you’ll need:

- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills: excited about working with and synthesizing big data into actionable insights; comfortable using data software to conduct analyses and synthesize findings 

- Exceptional problem-solving and execution skills: ability to make decisions, reprioritize tasks, and draw conclusions in the face of ambiguity 

- Strong business acumen: ability to understand how various parts of the business interact; can identify and approach problems from a customer perspective 

- Strong consultative skills: ability to work effectively and persuasively with a highly cross- functional group of business partners 

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

- Familiarity with any programming language and statistical analysis is a plus, including motivation to learn and develop the skill-set (SQL, R, Python)
