We are seeking an Sr. Architectural Design Program Manager – Chewy Vet Care in Bellevue, WA to join our Chewy Vet Care Design and Architecture team. The ideal candidate will be adept at partnering with designers, architects, 3p partners, and various cross-functional partners to establish systems and mechanisms to manage multiple projects, coordinate overall inputs, outputs and schedules associated with building our Chewy Vet Care locations. You know how to develop tools that enable our teams and business partners to accomplish their goals.  You remain aware of ever-evolving business goals and deliver solutions that respond and anticipate future evolutions. The ideal candidate has experience developing and managing a change management system specific to design, architecture and construction changes for existing, in-flight and newly completed buildouts.

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor, track, and coordinate work performance and deliverables of third-party partners (AOR, EOR) and vendors (signage, millwork, lighting, etc.) in accordance with the contracted standards, SLAs, and established delivery dates.
  • Partner with real estate teams to schedule critical-path activities between landlords and design teams.
  • Facilitate schedule alignment and prioritization across Real Estate, Design, Launch and 3rd party partners to ensure development activities are delivered per the agreed upon timelines, manage day-to-day evolution of schedules/deliverable needs with the design and preconstruction teams, including permitting.
  • Develop, communicate, and oversee design change management process for existing and new Chewy Vet Care locations.
  • Nurture relationships across stakeholder teams to maximize design contributions and alignment to broader business goals – ensure there is open communication across teams and dig deep with solutions-oriented thinking.
  • Partner with Concepts and Product teams to outline and define roadmap and think-big initiatives, make recommendations on strategic initiatives.

What You'll Need:

  • 7+ years of experience as an architecture or construction program manager or similar role
  • Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and communicate industry terminology.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail with experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple, geographically diverse, concurrent projects working remotely and auditing virtually.
  • Execute efficiently, meeting deadlines, and keeping others informed of work plans and progress toward goals via emails, Smartsheet, Asana, Procore, and live meetings.
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in groups.
  • Demonstrated skills with relevant software for effective management and tracking of projects, such as Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Asana and Procore.
  • Experience in Construction Management, Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • Project management credential preferred (PMP or similar).
  • Position may require travel and will require time in the local office.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Our pay range for a Program Manager position is $95,500.00 - $152,500.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) while salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
