Sr. Associate - Head of Social Media Marketing

Wayfair Professional, the B2B division of Wayfair, is looking for a Head of Social Media Marketing to help us foster and grow our engaged communities across our social media accounts. In this role, you will work in close collaboration with the larger B2B Brand Marketing and Creative teams and be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand vision and business goals. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth understanding of social media platforms (including, but not limited to: Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) and a proven track record in managing and growing social media accounts. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand vision and business objectives.
  • Create and maintain a daily social media content calendar focused on increasing brand awareness, engagement, and reach.
  • Manage the day-to-day executions of our 4+ social media accounts, including posting and responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Partner with our B2B Creative team, external vendors, and brand partners to create high-quality, engaging, and platform-first content for our various social media accounts. 
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in social media and the Interior Design industry, incorporating these insights into our go-to-market strategy.
  • Collaborate with brand partners (influencers, media, etc.) to help further extend our brand awareness and reach.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators, leveraging data to optimize our social media content strategy.
  • Work cross-functionally with a variety of teams across B2B and Consumer Marketing to ensure cohesive messaging across all owned and external channels. 

What You’ll Need:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in social media / digital marketing / brand / content marketing or related field
  • Extensive knowledge of the popular social media platforms, plus their algorithms and best practices for paid and organic content
  • Passionate about influencers and social media trends
  • Knowledge of, and an enthusiastic interest in, the Interior Design and/or Home industries
  • Collaborative mindset that thrives as part of a team
  • Data and process-oriented, demonstrated ability to continuously learn new tools
  • Ability to navigate an environment of continuous improvement working through ambiguity in an evolving organization 
  • Has attention to detail and the ability to work independently, under deadline pressure, and juggle multiple projects at once
  • Excellent critical thinking and verbal and written communication skills - ability to break down and communicate complex ideas and influence senior level and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Understanding of the customer experience 
  • Familiarity with Sprinklr, Dash Hudson, or related tools
