Role summary 

Hong Kong / Hybrid / Full-time 

The Financial Planning and Analysis Sr. Associate will serve as a key member of the FP&A team (currently located in Hong Kong), playing a key role in influencing the strategic direction of the global business through a combination of insightful analysis, policy enhancement and business partnering to the global sales organization. This role will report to FP&A Manager

What you’ll do 

  • Together with the FP&A Manager, be FP&A Business Partner to business and functional owners throughout our Go To Market (GTM) Sales organization, including but not limited to the B2B, Checkout, and Pricing functions.
  • Build financial models and forecasts that serve as the backbone for strategic decision making in ad-hoc global impact assessment.
  • Provide ad hoc value-added analysis and insights to senior management in FP&A and GTM.
  • Coordinate and discuss global insights with regional FP&A-GTM individuals (located in both East and West regions)
  • Work closely with business teams and regional FP&A to refine our internal and external long range forecast
  • Monitor actuals against targets, providing explanations and actionable insights
  • Monitor/approve PO and PR requests, followed by monthly review of expenses, and expense accruals
  • Support the development of Executive, Board of Directors, investor presentations, and quarterly earnings releases as needed
  • Perform ROI reviews on various business investments and campaigns
  • Build, track and monitor KPIs used to drive the business to greater effectiveness and efficiency
  • Support the global business teams with ad-hoc requests in a high-velocity, fast-paced environment
  • Analyze and identify macro trends and drivers of the business

Who you are 

  • 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, corporate finance (or similar) in a global public company; fintech or payments experience a plus
  • Strong business acumen, and ability to take charge with minimal guidance
  • Keen eye for detail paired with a visionary global perspective, diving deep into hands-on analysis while keeping the big picture in focus
  • Strategic mindset that connects the dots between how one decision in area A can impact another in area B
  • Self-starter, and proactive in devising solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with individuals across departments, and across global FP&A team
  • Ability to distill complex business operating models into clear financial structure
  • Top tier university, with superior academic record
  • Background: Banking, Payments, Fintech, E-comm or any Finance industry experience
  • Experience in SQL, BigQuery, Power BI would be highly advantageous
