Role Overview

Vimeo's B2B marketing team is looking for a talented, analytical, and results-driven Sr. Associate, Marketing to lead integrated marketing campaigns specifically for the Japanese market. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about driving demand for B2B SaaS products, this is the role for you. Reporting to the Director of International B2B Marketing, you'll be instrumental in generating new leads and pipeline for Vimeo Enterprise and Vimeo OTT across the APAC region, with a strong focus on Japan.

This role will involve managing various marketing channels including paid media, social media, email marketing, website optimization, and product launches. Your efforts will directly contribute to acquiring, engaging, and retaining the growing number of mid-sized to enterprise businesses in Japan that rely on Vimeo for their video communication and virtual event needs.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and execute integrated marketing campaigns tailored for the Japanese market, including account-based marketing, webinars, and marketing nurture streams.
  • Contribute to and influence our paid media, SEO, and growth marketing strategies to achieve ambitious goals in Japan.
  • Analyze channel performance meticulously, proactively recommending optimization opportunities and new avenues for growth within the Japanese market.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our marketing lead database, identifying opportunities for enhanced engagement and personalization for Japanese prospects.
  • Collaborate closely with our Sales and SDR teams in Japan to align on vertical goals and strategically deploy both inbound and outbound marketing efforts for maximum impact.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to plan and execute impactful marketing and promotional activities for product launches and go-to-market initiatives relevant to Japan.
  • Identify key information sources for Japanese marketing and sales professionals, building strategic partnerships, co-marketing opportunities, and sponsorships to capture new leads.
  • Develop and manage co-marketing activities and events with key partners, fostering strong relationships that drive mutual growth.
  • Plan, organize, and execute both virtual and in-person seminars and workshops, from content development to logistical coordination.
  • Identify and evaluate key industry events and conferences for Vimeo's sponsorship and attendance, maximizing brand visibility and lead generation.
  • Assist with local branding and PR initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and positive media presence in Japan.
  • Support the localization of sales collateral and website content, ensuring cultural relevance and accuracy for the Japanese market.
  • Collaborate directly with customers to create compelling case studies, testimonials, and press releases, as well as coordinating co-marketing and PR activities at events.

Skill and Experience you will Bring: 

  • 3+ years of experience in demand generation roles with a proven track record of strong cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Proficiency in enterprise Marketing Automation platforms (Marketo preferred) and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred); experience with Looker is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in launching and scaling solutions in new markets, particularly in growing marketing efforts as the business expands.
  • Native or business-level proficiency in Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing) is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the Japanese market landscape, including key industry trends, competitive dynamics, and cultural nuances.
  • Passion for video technology and a keen interest in the creative and entertainment industries.
