LogicMonitor Engineering team is looking for an Devops Automation Engineer who can help maintain the Cloud based Automation infrastructure. As a part of the team, you will be working with various QA teams for fulfilling the enhancements in the Cloud infrastructure for Test Automation, adaption to the new stable AMIs for stable automation runs.

Here's a closer look at this key role:

  • Safeguard and ensure the automation infrastructure.
  • Maintain uptime of LogicMonitor's automation infrastructure.
  • Deploy release/develop applications on the automation environment to have the smooth automation runs on daily basis.
  • Write code to automate various aspects of infrastructure maintenance and and deployments
What You'll Need:
  • 3-5 years of commercial or enterprise application for supporting DevOps tasks
  • BS or above degree in computer science or related field.
  • Familiar with at least programming language / scripting such as Java, Python, Shell programming   
  • Using Open Source automated testing tools - Chef, Puppet, Ansible
  • Experience in Rest API
  • Ability to work on  platforms like Linux
  • Experience in terraform script development, Cloud Formation templates
  • Experience working with Azure and/or GCP platforms
  • An expert, or able to quickly develop competencies, in numerous technologies (i.e. you can learn quickly!)
  • Judicious: capable of thoughtful analysis of the costs and benefits of the work being done, with an eye towards maximising customer utility
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Expert understanding of Amazon Web Services
  • Thorough understanding of various software application stacks
  • Extensive experience with CI and build systems
  • Significant experience with virtualization and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Significant experience with source code management tools (git).
  • High level understanding of networking technologies (routing, switching, firewalls, iptables, etc)
  • Experience with bamboo/Jenkins, or other continuous integration build environments.
  • Experience with Log management tools like SumoLogic, Kibana and monitoring tools like Graphana
  • An strong understanding of SOA and High Availability systems
  • Experience successfully training and mentoring technical personnel
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with a track record of improving documentation and processes
