We are seeking a highly motivated Channel Partner to join our Public Sector team, located in either the North East or South East region. This pivotal role is responsible for supporting Elastic’s initiatives in building a robust partner ecosystem to serve the SLED Marketplace!

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Identify and enable, VARS to advance our business objectives and execute partner sales strategies tailored to the SLED sector.
  • Drive consistent and predictable channel bookings through collaborative business planning and ongoing channel empowerment.
  • Collaborate closely with our direct sales teams to develop, track, and report on goals, objectives, forecasts, key metrics, and definitions of success for each partner account.
  • Lead negotiations and closure of channel and partnership contracts.
  • Spearhead the formulation and execution of an overarching channel strategy and prioritization plan for the respective coverage area, including the development of an Elastic Stack practice across priority channel partners.
What You Bring Along:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the SLED space.
  • Essential expertise in Cloud, SAAS, and working with MSSPs.
  • Consistent track record in recruiting, enabling, and guiding a network of channel partners, with direct personal involvement.
  • Exposure to and proficiency in establishing channel networks from the ground up.
  • Demonstrated success in amplifying channel results through increased lead generation or bookings growth.
  • Proficiency in negotiating channel agreements and designing channel programs.
  • Familiarity with analytics, search, or big data markets/products, or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Preferred experience with Elastic Software or Open Source technologies.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component, that together comprise the On-Target Earnings (OTE).   On-Target Earnings (OTE) are based on a 70/30 pay mix (base salary/target variable).  The typical OTE range for this role is listed below.  

This range represents the lowest to highest OTE we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.  

An employee's position within the OTE range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
