As a Senior Compensation Business Partner at Pure, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our compensation strategies for our Go-To-Market (GTM) organization. This includes supporting our Global Sales Organization (GSO), Marketing, and Customer Experience teams. You will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Sales Compensation teams to address and resolve compensation-related challenges. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the company's annual compensation review cycle, corporate bonus program, and providing analytical insights to support strategic decision-making.

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

  • Analytical Insights and Guidance -- Provide expert compensation guidance and analytical support to business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition teams, analyzing compensation data and market trends to offer strategic recommendations and insights.
    • Ensure compensation program goals are communicated effectively to client groups and understood through various learning and communication methods.
  • Compensation Program Design and Administration -- Lead the design, development, and administration of the company’s annual compensation review program, including merit, promotion, bonus, and stock programs, and oversee the implementation of compensation systems and processes to ensure effective execution.
    • Review and validate proposed compensation adjustments to ensure they align with established guidelines and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Note: This role is not responsible for variable compensation design or administration but will be a key partner to our Sales Compensation team.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis -- Conduct competitive and ad hoc compensation analyses to support exceptional new hire offers and other compensation-related decisions, and monitor market trends and shifts to provide timely guidance to minimize workforce changes and ensure competitive positioning.
  • Collaboration and Communication -- Partner with other compensation business partners and HR team members to foster a collaborative work environment and manage projects effectively, including planning, delivering on deadlines, and handling expectations.
    • Ensure effective communication of compensation program changes and updates across the organization.
  • Compliance and Best Practices -- Ensure all compensation practices and policies comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices, and continuously review and refine compensation processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional) is preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in compensation management, with a proven track record in designing and managing compensation programs. Experience in a similar analytical role within a global or high-growth organization is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of compensation best practices, market trends, and relevant legal regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in compensation management systems and tools.

You will be based in Santa Clara. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

The annual base salary range is: $172,000-$259,000.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location.
