Software Integrations Consultant - ServiceNow

What we’re looking for…

ScienceLogic is looking for an experienced consultant to work on software integrations with ServiceNow.  Managing today’s complex hybrid IT infrastructure requires integrations between cloud based and on premise platforms to enhance customer value.  This position will focus on working closely with our customers to design and deliver technology innovation and provide the backbone of customer systems integration business using the ScienceLogic platform.  Travel to customer sites of ~50% is required.

What you’ll be doing…

• Design & implement comprehensive ServiceNow integrated solutions by understanding problems, goals and technical requirements
• Review and translate customer use cases into detailed technical requirements.
• Participate in all technical aspects of team deliverables, including quality, performance, maintainability, and scalability
• Communicate technical decisions (architecture and design)
• Research potential solutions as requested by Product Management and develop solutions in concert with Engineering groups.
• Translate customer requirements into a project plan, develop a SOW and implement the solution.
• Ability to work well within a cross-functional team of Development and Quality Assurance teams, Product Managers and Professional Services Engineers.
• Demonstrated aptitude for learning new applications and technologies.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a group.

Qualities you possess…

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, plus 1-3 years of consulting experience.
• 2+ years of experience developing SOAP and REST web API’s.
• Experience with architecting, developing, customizing and implementing integrated solutions
• Experience developing applications and customizing IT Service Manager processes in ServiceNow
• Previous integration experience with ServiceNow, PagerDuty or ITSM platforms is a plus.
• 2+ years experience with JavaScript, MySQL and HTML5
• Experience with Linux is a plus; Python and Java experience is also a plus
• Experience with ITSM, EMS/NMS Systems (EM7, Solarwinds, IBM NetCool/Tivoli Nagios, HP OpenView or similar) and SNMP is a major plus.
