Role Description

As the Head of Growth Product at Dropbox, your responsibility will be to build a predictable, sustainable, and competitively defensible growth model for Dropbox. You will lead the Growth Product function across entire user journey: from viral acquisition and activation, to engagement and monetization pods, while providing dotted-line leadership to dedicated growth engineering, design, and data science teams.

Our goal is to find a data-driven B2B Growth Product leader with experience in both product-led growth and product-led sales growth motions. The ideal candidate should be comfortable operating on a large scale and impact - feeling at home with 1 million new sign-ups per week while holding 7-digit revenue targets on the shoulders. But B2B is only one part of the equation - Dropbox’s unique position in the market, having strong personal and work intent product adoption, necessitates the ability to foster growth across multiple use cases and products.

In the early stages, we expect this individual to leverage their past experience and hard earned best practices to identify opportunities in our existing growth flows and to optimize product experiences to deliver customer value and business outcomes.

In the long term, we anticipate that this leader will innovate our current growth model, introduce new loops, and spearhead strategy to integrate our GTM motions in a cohesive manner.

Responsibilities
  • Own performance and evolution of the company’s product-led growth model
  • Lead Acquisition, Activation, Monetization (incl. P&P strategy), and Engagement pods and metrics associated with them
  • Deliver self-serve revenue and product-led sales pipeline outcomes
  • Be customer focused, even obsessed
  • Balance short term forecast deliverables with long term, sustainable growth goals
  • Foster culture of high velocity learning and experimentation
  • Be highly data proficient while knowing when to use intuition and historical patterns to spring into action
  • Lean into growth mindset and coach the rest of the company on how to do growth
  • Collaborate and cultivate strong relationships across Marketing, Sale, Engineering, Design, and Core PM to test, quickly iterate and launch experiences that will support growth
  • Build a world-class Growth Product team and provide coaching, thought partnership, and mentorship to team members
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management/Growth at a technology company
  • B2B experience is a must
  • Product-led sales ownership is nice to have
  • Experience in owning self-serve revenue goals, possibly pipeline numbers
  • Comfortable leading 300+ people teams
  • Ability to lead with influence
  • Strong empathy for customers
  • Entrepreneurial drive and comfort with ambiguity
  • Ability to make hard decisions and have hard conversations
