Senior Account Executive - Enterprise (Greater Tokyo Metropolitan Area)

Vimeo is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Account Executive to drive the adoption of Vimeo Enterprise solutions within the Japanese market. In this quota-carrying role, you will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to closing enterprise deals. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to not only exceed sales targets but also contribute to the growth of Vimeo's presence in Japan and develop leadership skills for rapid career advancement. We are looking for a highly motivated sales professional with a proven track record of success in the SaaS industry and a passion for helping enterprise clients achieve their video communication goals.

What you'll do:

  • Consistently exceed sales quota targets by strategically selling Vimeo Enterprise solutions to enterprise accounts in Japan.
  • Develop and execute effective outbound prospecting strategies to generate new business opportunities, while also effectively managing and converting inbound leads.
  • Articulate Vimeo's unique value proposition to enterprise clients, confidently handling objections and positioning Vimeo as the preferred solution for their online video needs.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with leading brands and media companies in Japan, becoming a trusted advisor and helping them address their complex online video challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM data and pipeline information within Salesforce.com, ensuring efficient sales operations and accurate forecasting.
  • Actively manage lead pipeline and campaigns, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize sales effectiveness and achieve goals and objectives.
  • Conduct compelling and persuasive demonstrations of Vimeo Enterprise product capabilities to prospective customers, showcasing the platform's features and benefits.
  • Lead and manage the RFI/RFP process, providing comprehensive and compelling responses to complex business requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and best practices for the Japanese market, sharing your expertise and insights with the sales team.
  • Identify opportunities to mentor and support junior sales team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing sales culture.

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

  • 5+ years of experience in generating new SaaS sales, with a consistent track record of exceeding sales targets in an enterprise sales environment.
  • Deep knowledge of online video, live streaming, video monetization, analytics, and related technologies, with a strong understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Proven sales foundation built through formal sales training and practical experience, demonstrating a mastery of sales methodologies and techniques.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, time management, organizational, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • A collaborative and supportive teammate who will thrive in our fluid, fast-paced, dynamic, and scaling environment, contributing to a positive and productive team culture.
  • Highly motivated and driven by results, with a strong work ethic, a proactive approach to sales, and a passion for achieving ambitious goals.
