We are looking for a Sr. Group Manager, Web Product to join our growing Web Marketing team at Databricks. You will report directly to the Sr. Director, Web Marketing. This role sits within the broader Marketing Technology business unit.

Who You Are

As the Sr. Group Manager, Web Product at Databricks, you will own the databricks.com product strategy and roadmap globally and manage a high-performing team that runs all programs and initiatives from strategy to execution. You have a strong grasp of product growth, testing, and personalization; with a data-driven approach to continually optimize the site for pipeline generation. In addition, you have a deep understanding of website user experience, best practices, localization and SEO. You have experience developing website strategy and vision including working with cross-functional teams that are both technical and non-technical to deliver on the product roadmap. You are comfortable presenting to an executive audience with the ability to influence change. You understand how high-velocity marketing teams work and have experience scaling a team or function in a high-growth company. 

The impact you will have:

  • Elevate the website experience through data-driven insights, testing, competitive analysis/benchmarking, and qualitative feedback. Continually question the status-quo.
  • Drive consumption arm of website partnering closely with product teams to deliver trial sign ups, adoption, and growth. Perform funnel analytics that uncover new findings and opportunities for driving revenue. 
  • Oversee the web product roadmap using product development techniques including: minimum viable product, validated learning, story points. Ensure alignment with senior leadership.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams (Brand, Demand Generation, Product Marketing) to establish strategic vision and align goals throughout implementation and delivery of programs and initiatives.
  • Establish and refine core processes for the team including the intake process, project management process, and agile methodology.
  • Mentor others both inside and outside the web team on the philosophy, processes and best practices of the role and function.

What we look for:

  • 10+ years managing global websites for SaaS companies 
  • Experience managing a high performing team including hiring, retaining and recruiting talent.
  • Experience overseeing a product roadmap and managing complex product development cycles and technical solutions in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Data obsessed with a strong web analytics background with in-depth experience running testing & optimization programs and performing qualitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Experience leading and influencing stakeholders to deliver on goals and OKRs including defining strategy and setting vision.
  • Ability to present to an exec audience and synthesize information to a business audience.
  • Adept at managing and scaling multiple initiatives, resources, and processes.
  • Experience in a consumption based business model and/or growth background is highly desired.

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
