As a member of Pure’s Analyst Relations team, the Sr Analyst Relations Manager will support the development and execution of an effective Analyst Relations strategy that aligns with Pure’s business goals and objectives. Reporting to the Director of Global Analyst Relations, this position will manage strategic Pure partnerships with the industry analyst community.

Pure does not have a typical AR program; we don’t measure ourselves on how many briefings we conduct, and we don’t set targets for briefing cadences. We are a strategic organization within the Global Communications team that is chartered with building deep relationships with the industry analysts and the according firms that can impact our business. We measure the depth, breadth and positivity of these relationships to understand the true influence that we are having on the business. The results of these efforts pay off with top positions in analyst evaluation reports and positive coverage across our analyst ecosystem.

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

  • Develop strategic partnerships with our growing community of analysts 
  • Share analyst research and sentiments broadly across Pure via meeting notes, research summaries and newsletters
  • Engage with senior management to share relevant research with analysts that can impact the business via summaries and report distribution
  • Managing product evaluations such as the Gartner Magic Quadrant submissions, and setting a strategy with the business units to improve positioning each year
  • Demonstrate excellent judgment for Pure Storage’s best interest
  • Articulate Pure Storage high-level messages with external audiences to secure support both verbally and in writing
  • Collaborate with product and corporate marketing to deliver content and programs to drive lead generation 
  • Broaden visibility of Pure Storage, its strategy and core products

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • BA/BS in Communications, Technology or Business preferred
  • 8+  years of experience in Analyst Relations in the technology industry
  • Basic storage, data protection and/or cloud native application environment knowledge a plus
  • Strategic thinker with excellent program management, written, and oral communication skills
  • Comfortable with executing against deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment 
  • A positive, flexible attitude and a sense of humor are essential
  • Commitment to innovation
  • Understanding of the technology industry, and comfortable with current market trends 
  • Ability to synthesize, interpret and summarize third-party analysis and research for cross-functional audiences, including senior executives
  • Ability to work in a small team environment, but also work effectively with all cross-organizational functions 
  • High energy, enthusiastic team-player
  • You will be based in Santa Clara, CA. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

The annual base salary range is: $172,000 - $259,000. 

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
