Role summary

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Learning & Development to join our fun, collaborative, and passionate Talent Development team. We’re a fast-growing global fin-tech company with 2,500 amazing humans around the world—and it’s our team’s job to build a learning culture that will help them thrive. This is a global, individual contributor role for someone who lives and breathes all things learning and is excited to build development strategies and impactful programs that grow and engage our people. You’ll get to shape how learning happens here, from the ground up.

You will collaborate closely with the business to understand current state and future needs, shape our learning strategy, and drive innovative development programs across the organization. This role requires deep subject matter expertise, excellent communication skills, strong program management capabilities, and a passion for building learning solutions from the ground up.

What you’ll do:

  • Co-create our learning strategy: we’re just getting started, and it’s all white space
  • Build and own end-to-end learning programs that actually move the needle—virtual, blended, in person, eLearning, social—you name it
  • Create content that’s engaging, useful, and (as often as possible) fun
  • Facilitate when needed, and help others build that muscle
  • Assess learning needs across teams, geographies, and roles—and turn that into real action
  • Source and manage vendor programs and platforms (because not everything needs to be custom)
  • Partner across the org to build a global community with our functional learning teams
  • Source and configure our learning tech infrastructure to help us scale learning in smart, efficient ways
  • Leverage data and analytics to assess the impact of learning programs and make data-driven improvements

Who you are:

  • You’re a learning nerd (in the best way possible)—with deep expertise and years of experience building and delivering impactful programs
  • You think big and love being strategic, but you also love diving in and making things happen
  • You’ve got serious content creation chops—whether it’s designing an interactive eLearning module, scripting a virtual session, or building a blended journey
  • You’re resourceful and scrappy—you don’t wait for perfect; you make things happen
  • You keep up with new thinking around skill development and love to innovate- we’re up for anything here
  • You’re energized by building from scratch, love a good challenge, and move fast
  • You’ve worked with global teams and know how to make learning resonate across cultures and time zones
  • You’ve got solid experience with LMS platforms and eLearning tools, and you know how to use tech to make learning seamless
  • You’re curious, collaborative, and generous with your knowledge. We’re a no-egos, high-trust kind of team

In accordance with New York City Law, below is the annual base salary range for this position. Actual annual base salary is based on, but not limited to: experience, education, professional licenses, location and business needs. The position is eligible for health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k plan, paid-time off, and sick (and where applicable safe) leave. This position is also eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.

The annual base salary range for this position is: $125,000-$170,000
