As the Senior Marketing Manager for product led growth (PLG), you will operate from a user-first approach and orchestrate the marketing strategy to improve the growth of Elastic Cloud. You will be an integral part of a newly formed, cross-functional PLG team owning the planning and executing of a product-led marketing strategy. With over 29%+ growth quarter over quarter, we need a true self starter who is able to always stay on top of the priorities in our fast-paced environment.
This role will report to the Snr Director of Global Marketing Strategy, and you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise and implement innovative marketing strategies sought at attracting and retaining self-service customers, boosting revenue, and growing Elastic Cloud's market share.
Responsibilities:- This unique role combines growth marketing and product management, and will require working cross-functionally to drive impact across every step of the customer journey
- Working with the wider marketing organization (including but not limited to campaigns, web, SEO and paid digital), build out new and integrate with existing acquisition campaigns and experiments sought at generating striking user growth.
- Work with customer engineering and marketing campaigns to craft nurture emails that guide potential customers in understanding and succeeding with Elastic Cloud.
- Partner with PMM, web, engineering, and consumption teams to map out self-serve user journeys to enhance self-service adoption.
- Assist the PLG team in designing and building a streamlined sign-up experience.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify user actions and engagement rates, optimizing onboarding flows accordingly.
- Monitor metrics to pinpoint areas for improvement and explore innovative ways to impact core metrics.
- Align with Cloud Provider marketing team to ensure marketplace optimizations.
- Demonstrated experience (8+ years) in growth marketing, growth product management, or similar roles, preferably in technical products or open source ecosystems.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in stakeholder management, particularly with senior leaders, and a collaborative demeanor.
- Expertise in B2B marketing across various digital platforms and channels.
- Familiarity with the data ecosystem and buyer personas.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and automation software.
- Previous experience in open source environments.
- Knowledge of SEO standard methodologies.
- Experience in partner marketing and collaborating with Cloud Providers.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.
The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.
These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.
An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program.
