We’re looking for a Sr. Media Planner with experience planning & buying all types of media both digital and traditional to take on a leadership role on the Growth Marketing team. This person should be highly skilled at planning and executing digital and traditional media and understand the role of different media channels. 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead development of strategic media plans & recommendations for Pinterest consumer and advertiser (B2B) audiences. 
  • Manage brand media agency as well as lead smaller internally planned media campaigns designing cross-channel media strategies that meet objectives.
  • Work with the creative team (or agency) to ensure optimal ad development and harmony between media and creative.
  • Partner with internal Measurement & Analytics team to deliver campaign performance projections and post-campaign analysis with eye towards future implications.
  • Monitor campaigns to ensure they deliver expected results and optimize campaign buys to deliver against sentiment and business impact KPIs.
  • Assist with budget pacing to assure on budget delivery and partner with internal and media agency finance teams to reconcile monthly and quarterly spend.
  • Share in-flight and post campaign reports with internal stakeholders and ensure creative learnings are socialized with the creative team for future campaign development.
  • Manage and optimize Pinterest ad campaigns on the Pinterest platform, including brand lift studies.
  • Monitor emerging industry trends in digital marketing. Meet with potential media and technology vendors.

What we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years of experience planning and buying media with a focus on display, social, streaming TV, out-of-home, and partnerships (with focus on short form video assets).
  • Excellent communication skills including experience building media plan decks and campaign wrap decks.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute performance driven digital media campaigns.
  • Strong data and analytics skills.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and capable of creating solutions and resolving issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred media agency experience, not required.
