Sr. Merchandising Manager, Perigold
This position is a hybrid in-office role that works out of our Headquarters in Boston, MA (this role is not a virtual / remote position). 4 days in office/ 1 day WFH
The salary range (or base pay) for this position is $149,000-161,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
The Perigold Merchandising Lead role (Sr Manager) is responsible for setting and executing on the vision of best-in-class merchandising for Perigold. They will partner closely with STO leads across Category Management, Marketing, Merchandising, Operations and Storefront to identify opportunities for merchandising optimization and utilize the team of associates, analysts and offshore resources to directly improve the Perigold merchandising experience, through e.g. scalable catalog cleanups, merchandising lever optimizations and automation, dashboard creation and alerting setup, and partnering on new go-to-market content.

What You’ll Do:
- Own merchandising metrics for the PG catalog and onsite experience, including complete SKU %, assortment reporting, catalog health, merchandising productivity.
- Build and execute on 12-18 month roadmap.
- Identify opportunities for scalable optimization of the catalog & experience, working with direct reports and offshore resources to improve coverage metrics.
- Partner closely with merchandising teams on nuanced merchandising needed by customer type, category or platform.
- Manage a team of 5 associates and analysts, identifying opportunities for team development throughout the roadmap and promoting collaboration within the team.
- Manage offshore resources and optimize workflows to get optimal benefit from cost.
- Work cross-functionally with category management and marketing to solve Perigold-wide problems, including collaborating on assortment optimization, go-to-market content, site navigation and supplier management.
- Build out business reporting needs and prioritize within the Merchandising analytics community.
What You’ll Need:
- Strong analytical orientation, capable of leveraging data to dissect complex problems, formulate testable hypotheses, rigorously verify those hypotheses through data analysis, and ultimately develop and implement well-supported recommendations.
- A keen eye for premium product presentation, understanding the nuances of visual merchandising and branding that elevate the perceived value of products.
- Senior presence coupled with strong communication skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, adept at building and maintaining positive relationships across teams and levels, effectively managing expectations, and driving collaborative outcomes.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
