Pinterest is looking for a Sr. Performance Solutions Partner. This role is responsible for enabling advertisers and sellers to drive success on the Pinterest platform, through the adoption of priority products and the development of new / innovative best practices. The Sr. Performance Solutions Partner will closely partner with cross-functional leadership in sales, product, and engineering. This is a multi-faceted, fast-paced job in a start-up environment so flexibility, a data-driven mindset, a strong work ethic, and a good sense of humor are a must. The right candidate will be a strategic thought leader who is driven by learning and solving ambiguous problems, yet be able to be hands on to troubleshoot technical issues that is a revenue blocker to lower funnel revenue.
The Performance Solutions team sits within the Global Customer Solutions (GCS) organization. Performance Solutions delivers through strategic guidance, operational excellence and technical expertise to improve the effectiveness of advertising campaigns resulting in increased client ROI. We work to understand, innovate, and scale cross-functional workflows. We are responsible for measuring process impact, making our business more efficient with consistent execution while embarking on building the next generation of data-driven best practices.
What you’ll do:
- Become an expert at Pinterest campaign best practices, enabling yourself to be your market’s go to resource for performance related opportunities
- Be the primary day-to-day performance expert for sales to help activate lower funnel campaigns (ex. eCommerce, performance marketing) through performance strategies. Provide prompt, professional consultative support and service to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Understand complex processes and products, distilling them down into a digestible format for a less technical audience
- Enable and mobilize sellers to pitch new performance products and campaign best practices at scale
- Provide strategic thought leadership to top tier clients within your region
- Helping to build learning agendas and test and learn opportunities for lower funnel product adoption and new campaign strategies for our priority accounts
- Identify key issues facing our clients and advertisers, and develop proposed solutions on how Pinterest should solve them through systems, processes and / or people
- Work with your market’s sellers to adapt best practices to fit the market you are supporting, and relay that feedback to internal and external stakeholders
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience within digital marketing, preferably in the social advertising space
- 3+ years of both client and sales facing experience, in addition to hands-on experience with media planning, performance based campaign management/optimization, and shopping feed optimization
- Expert knowledge of e-commerce media strategies that generate incremental ROAS/CPA/GMV against in-platform, site analytics, and/or MMP measurement sources of truth. Retail will be a major focus but so will other verticals that will require lower funnel performance guidance.
- Technical foundation with relevant experience in Search/Shopping/Display/Social advertising technologies. This includes working knowledge of API implementation (ex. CAPI), tagging setup and QA, data layers, tag managers, HTML, and Javascript
- A structured and detail-oriented thinker. You’re as comfortable solving conceptual problems and creating frameworks to refine a team’s thinking as you are getting into the weeds to understand how things work.
- Strong communication skills. You can move seamlessly between conversing with engineers or frontline sales employees and lead presentations with senior leads.
- An individual that thrives in a fast-moving environment while managing ambiguity, and is independently capable of seeking information, corralling resources, and delivering results without waiting for direction.
- Professional Mandarin proficiency will be a nice to have but not required
Relocation Statement:
- This position is not eligible for relocation assistance. Visit our PinFlex page to learn more about our working model.
In-Office Requirement Statement:
- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- As such, this role will need to be in the office or in front of our customers for in-person collaboration, typically 2 days per week, and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance to our Singapore City based office.
