HashiCorp’s commercial products are available to customers as a Software as a Service (SaaS) offering. The HashiCorp Cloud Platform (HCP) provides a set of horizontal capabilities, infrastructure, and common services to enable the SaaS offering. 

As a Senior Product Manager on the HCP team, you will be focusing on the critical domains of security and compliance. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and driving the product strategy across our portfolio of products, ensuring that we meet our goal to build the right security & compliance controls to remove friction in the sales process, meet the stringent needs of our large enterprise customers and build trust with our base. You will bring a thoughtful perspective on enterprise customer needs in regions such as North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific with regard to meeting local regulations, and compliance needs. 

To do this, you will need to work cross-functionally with other product lines and stakeholders in legal, GRC and the security organizations to help shape the roadmap and strategy for security and compliance by bringing your insights into the needs of these customers and the data boundaries they operate within.

• Define and drive the long term product strategy for security and compliance features across HashiCorp's suite of products, aligning with the overall company vision and objectives.
• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging security and compliance trends, competitive landscape, and discover internal as well as external customer requirements.
• Have frequent conversations with customers both remotely and in customer offices to understand their security and compliance needs, gather feedback, and overall ensure that product direction is in tune with customer and business needs.
• Stay current with industry regulations and standards related to security and compliance, ensuring that HashiCorp's products adhere to and support relevant controls and frameworks.
• Work in a cross-functional and collaborative role spanning several teams such as product, design, data / product analysts, technical program managers, engineering, marketing / alliances, sales, legal, security, GRC and support to ensure seamless go-to-market strategies, effective communication, and successful product launches.
• Develop comprehensive documentation, messaging and training materials to assist customers in understanding HashiCorp’s posture and leverage security and compliance features effectively.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and adoption of security and compliance features, iterating on the product strategy based on data-driven insights.

• Overall experience of 10+ years and 5+ years of platform product management experience, with a focus on security and compliance features in cloud services
• Strong technical understanding of compliance standards, and experience building compliance frameworks such as GDPR, PCI, FedRAMP, HIPAA into an enterprise product portfolio.
