About the Role

Terraform Cloud is a comprehensive platform designed to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management through infrastructure as code (IaC). It centralizes Terraform configurations and state files, facilitating collaboration among team members while integrating seamlessly with version control systems. With scalable execution environments and robust access controls, Terraform Cloud empowers teams to efficiently deploy, manage, and version infrastructure across environments. This role is to lead the standardized policies strategy within the Terraform Cloud Product Management team and is responsible for ensuring that the policies in Terraform Cloud meets the needs of the largest enterprises across the globe. As the Product Manager of a team of highly motivated software engineers, you will drive the strategy and execution of our built-in policy capabilities, including Terraform Cloud’s ability to support industry compliance standards such as NIST SP 800-53, PCI DSS, to name a few.

In this role you can expect to:
  • Work across multiple product lines and stakeholders. 
  • Own the strategic direction of your group, and be able to regularly present it to leadership and customers.
  • Help build processes to prioritize customer, community and internal feature requests. 
You may be a good fit for the team if you have:
  • 5+ years in product management and have a technical background in infrastructure or DevOps.
  • Background in implementing DevSecOps practices and integrating security into the software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with security automation and orchestration tools, vulnerability scanning tools, and secure coding practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks, industry standards (e.g.PCI DSS, NIST, CIS), and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
  • Significant experience with devops tooling, infrastructure as code and policy as code.
  • Articulate and effective communication skills, both in writing and verbally
