What you will be doing:

  • Be a Product Owner for our collection teams located in the United States, India, and Poland, and define requirements and manage the backlog for the data collection and management roadmap. 
  • Responsible for developing requirements, working with global scrum teams to deliver those capabilities as part of our continuous releases. 
  • Working closely with key customers and strategic partners to gather and analyze customer problems, use cases, and usage to gain a deep understanding of solution/product requirements. 
  • Delivering product requirements and backlog for installed and cloud data collection and management. Representing the voice of the customers to scrum and other engineering meetings. Partnering with Engineering to ensure our service is meeting our scale and reliability goals and make necessary prioritization decisions to support those goals.
  • Contributing and/or developing various aspects of sales kits including whitepapers, blogs, messaging documents, presentations, and product demonstrations. Telecommuting is permitted.

 

What we need from you

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related IT field and five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience as a Technical Product Manager, Software Engineer/Developer or in a related role. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience, will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related IT field and three (3) years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Software Engineer/Developer or in a related role.

 

  • Work experience with: 
  • Software development; 
  • Big Data, IaaS and PaaS technologies; 
  • Leading cloud providers such as AWS, Azure or Google;
  • Machine data collection; 
  • Monitoring technologies such as OpenTelemetry, Telegraf, StatsD, Prometheus, CollectD, FluentD, Graphite or Syslog;  
  • Container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, ECS and Fargate; and, 
  • IT software and cloud ecosystem spaces.

The salary range for this position is $171,000 to $190,000 per year.
