Sr Product Manager, Platform
At Zuora, we do Modern Business. We’re helping people subscribe to new ways of doing business that are better for people, companies and ultimately the planet. It’s an approach resulting from the shift to the Subscription Economy that puts customers first by building recurring relationships instead of one-time product sales and focuses on sustainable growth. Through our leading expertise and multi-product suite, we are transforming all industries and working with the world’s most innovative companies to monetize new business models, nurture subscriber relationships and optimize their digital experiences.
The Team & Role
As a Senior Product Manager, AI for System Administration at Zuora, you will lead the evolution of how enterprise customers implement, manage, and optimize their Zuora environments. You'll own our comprehensive system administration product suite, driving both enhancements to existing tools and the development of new AI-powered capabilities that automate complex tasks, accelerate implementation timelines, and reduce operational friction across development, staging, and production environments.
This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering, artificial intelligence, and customer success. You'll enhance our current system administration capabilities while integrating cutting-edge AI technologies to solve real-world problems that directly impact customer time-to-value and operational efficiency. Your solutions will empower system administrators, implementation consultants, and global services teams to configure, deploy, and maintain Zuora systems with unprecedented speed and accuracy.
What you’ll do
- Own System Administration Product Strategy – Lead the roadmap for Zuora's system administration tools, including both enhancements to existing capabilities and new AI-powered features that dramatically reduce deployment time and eliminate manual configuration errors.
- Drive AI Innovation in System Administration – Collaborate with engineering and design teams to integrate generative AI solutions that automate configuration, generate deployment scripts, and provide intelligent troubleshooting alongside traditional admin tools.
- Enable Scalable Customer Success – Build and enhance tools that help implementation teams and system administrators deploy and manage Zuora faster and with fewer errors – reducing the need for deep platform expertise through both improved workflows and AI assistance.
- Evolve System Administration Capabilities – Enhance existing system administration features while creating new proactive, self-optimizing tools that anticipate customer needs and simplify administration across multi-environment deployments.
- Lead Cross-Functional Execution - Collaborate across engineering, product, design, and global services teams to deliver integrated solutions that blend traditional system admin capabilities with intelligent automation.
- Establish External Thought Leadership– Represent Zuora in customer advisory boards, industry events, and analyst briefings to position us as a leader in both robust system administration and intelligent platform innovation.
Your experience
- 8+ years of product management experience with demonstrated success at leading enterprise SaaS or platform companies, with at least 2 years focused on system administration tools, platform engineering, or AI/ML-powered products
- Deep experience with AI/ML in enterprise software, including LLMs, machine learning APIs, or generative AI solutions for automating technical tasks.
- Strong technical foundation with experience in system administration, DevOps practices, infrastructure-as-code, API design, and enterprise deployment architectures.
- Proven success managing platform products involving multi-tenant systems, environment configuration, or enterprise-scale integrations.
- Skilled at working with technical customers, including system administrators, implementation consultants, and enterprise architects.
- Executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders across functions, including C-level audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
Nice to haves:
