SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE

We are in search of a dynamic Senior Program Manager to join our PEAK (Performance, Education, and Knowledge) Team within the global Customer Experience organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a strong understanding of the educational sector. This role requires someone who is passionate about delivering educational initiatives that make a significant impact on learning outcomes. The Senior Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of a wide range of educational projects, from curriculum development to technology integration, ensuring they meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget requirements.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Lead the development of project plans, including defining project scope, goals, timelines, resources, and budget, in alignment with educational objectives and standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure that project outcomes meet the evolving needs of learners.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive project intake process that includes criteria for submission, evaluation, and prioritization of projects.
  • Facilitate as needed and collaborate with stakeholders across various departments and external partners to gather project proposals, understand their objectives, and assess their impact on the organization.
  • Lead cross-functional and organizational meetings to review project submissions, facilitating discussions to ensure a thorough understanding of project scope, objectives, and resource requirements.
  • Prioritizing projects based on strategic alignment, company and organizational goals, resource availability, potential ROI, and providing transparent feedback to stakeholders on the status of their proposals.
  • Establishing clear communication channels and feedback loops to keep stakeholders informed about project intake status, decisions, and any changes to the prioritization. 
  • Continuously refining the project intake process based on stakeholder feedback and organizational needs to improve efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Prepare detailed project documentation, including plans, charts, dashboards, and reports, to track progress and deliver effective project communication and updates.
  • Working knowledge of industry standard best practices and related tools (Smartsheet, Asana, Aha!, Microsoft Project, Tableau, etc.)
  • Lead project meetings, promote clear communication among team members and stakeholders, and provide regular progress updates.
  • Identify, address, and resolve project issues and risks, applying strong problem-solving skills.
  • Communicate project/program results from the team's evaluation of the effectiveness of educational programs through both qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that all project deliverables meet the organizational standards.
  • Oversee the evaluation of project impact, including learner outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction, using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Effectively manages risk, partnering with colleagues to ensure the right decisions are made at the right time, appropriate communication occurs, and plans are intelligently adjusted to reflect necessary fluctuations in goals and requirements.
  • Lead the continuous improvement of project management processes and educational strategies, incorporating feedback and lessons learned from each project.

What You Bring To The Team:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project/program management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, or related field.
  • Certified Project Management Professional(e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager working in technology or a related field, with a track record of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and successfully delivering them.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing diverse teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Superb ability to distill complex information into easy to understand summaries, including creating dashboards, slides, reports to summarize projects in a polished and usable way.
  • Experience with leading projects for an entire group or department, or a major piece of a larger cross company product or project.
  • Expert in influence and negotiation, with deep understanding of effective change management.

The annual base salary range is: $100,000 - $218,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
