Pinterest is looking for a Sr. Project & Program Manager - Transparency Reporting to join our Business Operations & Strategy team under Trust & Safety Operations. The team facilitates content safety enforcement on Pinterest and transparency of this work by providing operational support, strategic planning, and cross-functional coordination. In this role, you will work closely with another Sr. Project & Program Manager to lead the full lifecycle of transparency reports throughout the year. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of transparency reporting at Pinterest within a rapidly growing field and contribute to the company’s commitment to accountability and compliance.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Planning and organization: Define and track the timelines, milestones and roles/responsibilities for each step of the transparency reporting processes
  • Project coordination: Assign tasks, provide stakeholders with regular and relevant updates, and manage effective communications with all internal and some external stakeholders
  • Data investigation and problem solving: Work with data, legal and enforcement teams to identify issues and data anomalies, investigate and balance tradeoffs, and make recommendations or decisions to resolve 
  • Writing: Suggest content and draft report sections in coordination with content strategy and legal teams
  • Documentation: Document decisions and reasoning, update methodologies, and record information found during data investigations
  • Process improvement: Identify and implement improvements to transparency reporting processes, communication, and deliverables
  • Risk management: Identify potential risks and take strategic actions to mitigate those risks

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience in project management 
  • Interest in the global regulatory environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively engage with and motivate cross-functional teams towards common goals
  • Experience coordinating and successfully delivering multiple, simultaneous projects with strict deadlines
  • Determined and motivated to investigate issues, pursue answers, and build solid ground truths
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement improvements under constraints
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to changes in project scope and direction
