Pinterest is looking for a Senior Project & Program Manager to join our Strategy & Operations team under Trust & Safety. The team facilitates policy enforcement on Pinterest by developing and implementing strategic initiatives and providing project management support.

In this role, you will manage projects and programs for key Trust & Safety organizational initiatives. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of teams across T&S and ensure strategic alignment with short, medium and long term goals. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with leaders across multiple areas of the business and contribute to the company’s commitment to operational excellence and a more positive Internet.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Drive initiatives from start to finish (including roadmaps) and delivering on results aligned with organizational objectives
  • Identify, scope, and lead projects aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness across the organization
  • Manage multiple stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Support developing strong foundations by implementing scalable processes and systems; providing mentorship and sharing best practices across the team
  • Assist in managing the organizational budget (i.e., including tracking spending, forecasting, identifying patterns/opportunities)
  • Lead and run special organizational projects to drive operational excellence and strategic goals
  • Communicate and share executive-friendly updates with leadership on project progress, key milestones, and strategic insights

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience in project or program management 
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to projects or overall direction with changes in organizational priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement improvements under constraints
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage effectively with and motivate cross-functional partners toward common goals
  • Strong track record of delivering impact for the business
  • Proven excellence in coordination and successful delivery of a variety of simultaneous projects
  • Trust and safety, compliance or legal experience

In-Office Requirement Statement:

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection. 
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times every 6-months and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.

Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.
