Global Service Logistics within the Pure Storage Support Organization is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to drive a wide variety of projects to completion. To be successful in this role, you will need to work cross-functionally with the Support, Service Logistics, Dispatch of parts and Field Engineer services, and several other business units, to become well-versed in their processes and tools.
The Project Manager must work effectively with senior management and multiple stakeholders and is ultimately responsible for project leadership, management, quality, documentation and timely / cost-effective delivery.
Essential Functions:
- Projects include new product releases, new system implementations, rolling out new internal programs, changing current business workflows, and sustaining existing processes.
- Provide proposals for strategic changes that will result in positive impacts for internal and external customers.
- Serve as the go-to resource for project management of integration work streams
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure the transition of all services functions, processes and elements into goals.
- Provide key input / status to senior-level business stakeholders during project design, build, testing, or training phases.
- Establish and maintain relationships with business clients to ensure that their requirements are documented.
- Directly and indirectly manage the work effort of 3rd party vendors and partners, in the delivery of assigned projects and programs.
- Must be able to create and maintain a plan using Project Management tools and report weekly progress based on the plan.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage and communicate roadmap for multiple projects.
- Report potential scope slippages, analyze impact and devise solutions
- Knowledge of quality systems management and auditing a plus
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- 10+ years of project lead experience required
- Experience in Project Management, Requirements Gathering and Documentation and Quality Assurance, Testing and Training.
- Ability to drive the client implementations and oversee delivery of key project deliverables, and coordination of all key project stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Resolve issues that stand in the way of project success
- Participate in writing Statements of Work and proposals
- Conduct project reviews to assess project outcomes and team performance
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills (proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office)
- Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) and lead sponsors/stakeholders to the solution of business process and/or technical problems
- Experience in Project management disciplines of scope, schedule, budget, risk, and issue management
- Experience in Project Management tools for planning, monitoring, and reporting (JIRA, Testrail, or similar)
- Experience in development of CRM and ERP applications such as Salesforce.com, NetSuite, SAP, etc.
- Ability to lead by influence up, down, and across an organization
Preferred Education and Certifications:
- BA/BS degree
- PMP certification (Six Sigma Certification preferred)
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
The annual base salary range is: $145,000.00 - $218,00.00
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
