The Opportunity:

As our Sr. Sales Director, Nordics & Emerging EMEA, you will lead our Enterprise and Mid-Market Sales teams, focused on scaling the business and driving in-region revenue growth, including new logo acquisition and expansion of existing accounts, increasing market share for our modern commerce platform.

As the front-line leader of this team, you will use your data-driven approach, attention to detail, open-mindedness, instinct for complexity, and inquisitive nature to be successful. 

You will provide hands-on coaching and guidance to the sales team on their opportunities and will build operational rigor into the business with an emphasis on data-driven forecasting, analyzing the effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies, disciplined CRM management, and a robust reporting infrastructure.

Your Mission:

  • Own, with an extreme focus, outbound pipeline creation and manage the sales teams accordingly
  • Lead the sales team, driving the teams to hit their monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
  • Manage a high-growth organization and set sales strategies and programs to achieve account and revenue goals
  • Use data to guide your management of the business to create, manage, and close deals, including business planning, evaluating key performance metrics, accurate summaries and analysis of activity, results, and forecasts
  • Work with our partners in Deal Desk, Legal, Finance, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Sales Operations to understand and implement initiatives to increase pipeline and bookings, differentiate our solutions, and improve the effectiveness and productivity of the team
  • Emphasise the importance of data hygiene by promoting and enforcing the use of Salesforce in tracking leads, pipeline, deal structure, and wins
  • Foster continuous improvement, ensuring that all sales activities (sales calls, pipeline development, account planning, customer account reviews, close cycles, etc.) are effective and scalable
  • Provide regular, data-based updates to the sales leadership team and executive partners regarding progress against quota attainment, team performance, and any roadblocks you encounter along the way
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and retention

What you need to succeed:

  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience at the executive level, leading a 6+ person organization of experienced sales executives
  • SaaS domain expertise
  • Proven experience working in a growth environment, scaling teams and revenue growth with new business
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making; experience using Salesforce CRM to manage the business, including team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing data
  • Experience building a go-to-market strategy and sales plan, establishing a new sales motion, and building a culture of operational excellence
  • Experience in Command of the Message and MEDDPICC methodologies to successfully drive a high-performance sales team
  • Excellent communication (interpersonal and presentation) and closing skills, and have successfully applied these in previous sales roles
  • Organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding of sales performance metrics and driven with an extreme sense of urgency to deliver
  • Ability to develop and understand complex business processes/business models while embodying a consultative approach
  • Very comfortable working up to 100% remotely and able to create an emphatic and meaningful relationship with the sales team and other remote stakeholders
  • Deep experience with Salesforce CRM and Hubspot
