Sr. Software Engineer, Fullstack
Narvar is growing! We are looking for Senior Software Engineers that enjoy working on both APIs and UIs. In this role, you will build products that power the post-purchase experience for the biggest brands in the retail industry. As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will have a direct impact on our customer-facing products and work with modern technologies like Spring Boot, React, and GraphQL to ship complex features that drive millions of views.
Day-to-day
- Implement new product features & support/ extend existing ones
- Build REST and GraphQL APIs that support a high volume of traffic
- Build frontend platform components leveraged across our internal and external products
- Contribute to our overall architecture and development experience partnering with other senior engineers
What we're looking for
- You have a BS/MS in computer science, information systems, or equivalent
- You have 7+ years of experience building reliable, scalable, and high-quality systems
- Experience with a frontend framework(s), such as React, Svelte Angular, Vue or Ember
- Experience building well-designed software with Java (or C#) and frameworks like Spring
- Experience developing consumer facing applications consuming various APIs from a microservice backend system
- Experience defining REST or GraphQL APIs for new features
- Knowledge of full development life cycle and computer science fundamentals
- Experience with mentoring other engineers
- Previous startup experience strongly preferred
