We're seeking a visionary Senior Leader of Product Operations to drive operational excellence, scale our product organization, and elevate our customer engagement programs. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the connective tissue between product, engineering, and go-to-market teams, ensuring we deliver exceptional value to customers through our unified Data and AI platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources, including customer and partner feedback, product usage, and adoption metrics
- Develop and maintain user-friendly systems, reports, and dashboards to surface key metrics and trends to stakeholders
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Field teams to close the feedback loop and build a cohesive customer story
- Collaborate with Field and Go-To-Market teams to align customer insights with roadmap communication and improve transparency across the org.
- Oversee the product roadmap communication, ensuring timely and high-quality information delivery
- Build scalable processes to identify and recruit representative customers across key cohorts and strategic personas into feedback programs
- Design and manage repeatable operational processes to scale customer engagement programs with rigor, measurability, and high-touch experience.
- Lead the strategy and execution of the Product Advisory Board (PAB), including large-scale events and ongoing customer councils that give R&D teams direct, structured feedback from top customers.
- Partner closely with Product Line leaders to facilitate targeted customer engagement loops, enabling real-time feedback and alignment on product direction.
- Influence product and engineering decision-makers to deliver the best possible customer experience
- Organize the measurement of key results for annual objectives and communicate progress to department stakeholders
- Implement process improvements to optimize product operations, reducing costs and improving efficiency
- Drive operational rigor across the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in product operations, business analysis, or related roles in high-growth technology companies
- Proven track record of scaling product operations in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
- Balances technical depth and customer empathy to guide R&D in gathering, synthesizing, and acting on customer input
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or Scala
- Experience with data visualization solutions such as Databricks Dashboards, Tableau, Salesforce, PowerBI, or Data Studio
- Deep understanding of the data and AI landscape, including lakehouse architecture and modern analytics platforms
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex analysis into clear messaging
- Experience leading update syncs with strong preference for Agile/Scrum/JIRA experience
- Entrepreneurial, "can-do" attitude with the ability to make an impact in a start-up environment
Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
