Sr. Technical Operations Associate 

The Vimeo Solutions team is dedicated to ensuring our users are achieving value and quick adoption of Vimeo’s OTT Enterprise offering, including providing a seamless onboarding experience across platforms. As one of the first touch points during the client journey, our team is responsible for setting customers up for success with our product. You will collaborate with teams based in NYC, London, and Bangalore to manage onboarding and ongoing client-specific projects. You will also contribute to the ongoing improvement of our experience to build innovative solutions and processes that drive the business forward. 

As a Sr. Technical Operations Associate, you will be tasked with helping launch and maintain apps across our partner platforms, with a specific focus on implementing client-provided graphics into our app design templates. This includes working cross-functionally with Implementation Managers, Account Managers, application engineering teams, and enterprise clients to ensure the clients’ apps have a smooth onboarding and are maintained regularly with all the latest features. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with graphic design software (e.g. Figma, Photoshop), basic web design (HTML / CSS), detail and process oriented, able to prioritize competing projects, and communicate across teams. They should also feel comfortable working independently to surface roadblocks and propose solutions. 

What you’ll do:

  • Review and manipulate client graphics into a deliverable mockup that allows customers to preview their apps before we build
  • Manage configurations and use internal automation tools to schedule work from Design through to Submission
  • Work within the various app store backends (Apple App Store, Google Play Store, etc) to publish and review updates to apps 
  • Leverage CSS and Javascript to Implement basic customizations to customer OTT sites 
  • Report on critical task progress and proactively communicate timelines and status to relevant teams.
  • Help identify areas of our process that can be improved through automation tools, workflow improvement, or better resource distribution 
  • Consistently work to improve the speed and reliability of our Branded Apps delivery pipeline 
  • Edit, improve and expand upon documentation related to app delivery specifications and methods
  • Be a primary resource to others for training, questions, and issue resolution

Experience, Skills and knowledge you should possess:

  • Familiarity with design software and collaboration tools like Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop / InDesign / etc) 
  • Intermediate knowledge of web design languages such as HTML and CSS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and technical troubleshooting skills 
  • Ability to be self-directed and manage time effectively in a fast paced environment 
  • A keen eye for identifying areas of improvement 
  • Cool as a cucumber under pressure
  • Willing and able to learn new software
  • Communication skills and an almost strange desire for checklists are strongly desired traits.

Bonus (Nice to have but not required!):

  • Familiarity with OTT, CTV Apps and/or Live Video Streaming
  • Experience working with App Stores (e.g. Apple / Roku) and App Store Submissions
