The Global Workplace Services team strives to create world class office spaces, environments and experiences. As the Facilities Specialist, you’ll lead Facility operations for our San Francisco and Palo Alto office and partner with our global workplace team. This is an onsite role, based out of our San Francisco office.
What you’ll do:
- Manages the operations and maintenance of building systems for the Bay Area offices: HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical, fire life safety, FF&E
- Develops and oversees site maintenance programs necessary to the facility to ensure a safe and efficient work environment, including developing site-wide preventative maintenance plans
- Sources, onboards, and manages facilities-related vendors, contracts, and budgets
- Partners with property management to oversee all safety validations for the facility, medical, and fire suppression systems
- Manages BMS (Building Management System) and supports global integrations
- Receives, manages, and processes work order requests; ensures problems are resolved quickly
- Participates in emergency preparedness, planning, and response
- Partners with broader team on Workplace-related initiatives
- Emergency after hours support as needed
- Ability to lift 50 lb / 20 kg
- Other duties as assigned
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in facilities, building services and/or workplace operations
- Experience working with vendors and coordinating with cross-functional departments
- Intuitive knowledge of working with all levels of management
- Experience with efficient communication and customer service needs
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Ability to respond to after hours emergencies in a timely manner
- Facilities certifications a plus (FMP, CFM)

- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 5 days a week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from one of the following offices: San Francisco or Palo Alto.
