Staff Accountant Intern

- You have strong analytical skills and ability to research, simplify, and resolve complex issues
- You are detail oriented with a mindset towards meeting the high standards for financial system operations
- You are an excellent communicator of complex technical ideas
- You are able to work independently with limited supervision, interacting effectively and quickly gaining the respect and support of team members
- You love a good challenge and learning new things
What skills do I need?
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
- Must be detail oriented with an ability to work independently
- Demonstrated strong accounting skills
- Self-motivated team player with an ability to demonstrate initiative in problem solving and process definition
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines and tight quarter end deadlines
- Eager to learn and tackle new challenges
Bonus:
- Experience with Netsuite
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in monthly closing procedures such as balance sheet reconciliations, journal entry posting, and trended financials reviews
- Assist in daily operations
- Assist with the data gathering and submission of accounting records to third party international accounting partners
- Support other accounting functions (e.g., accounts payable), as needed
- Collaborate to tackle ad hoc reporting and analysis

Our office in Hungary is located next to Kálvin Square in Budapest. We have a hybrid work schedule. You need to be currently eligible to work in Hungary.
