What You’ll Do- Architect and deliver high-quality, scalable full-stack solutions using Next.js, Vue, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- Build and maintain robust, event-driven backend services with Node.js and Nest.js, optimized for performance, maintainability, and reliability.
- Own cloud architecture and deployments on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, RDS, ECS, SQS) and work with Data engineering on Databricks, ensuring cost-effectiveness, scalability, reliability, security, and observability.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform to improve delivery speed, reliability, and consistency.
- Lead complex, cross-functional projects from inception to production, partnering with engineering, product, and design teams.
- Shape system architecture through informed participation in design and technology decisions.
- Partner closely with Product and Design to translate business objectives into impactful technical solutions.
- Identify and resolve critical technical debt, leading high-value refactors to improve system health and delivery velocity.
- Mentor and grow engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
- Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and innovation.
- Champion best practices in testing, observability, documentation, and secure coding.
- Leverage AI tools (Cursor, Copilot, Windsurf, Devin.ai) to accelerate development, solve complex problems, and deliver outsized impact.
Core Technical Skills
- 10+ years in software engineering, with expertise in modern full-stack development.
- Frontend: Vue.js, Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript
- Backend: Node.js, Nest.js
- Cloud: AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, RDS, ECS, SQS) and Databricks
- Infrastructure: Terraform
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions
- Proven experience building and maintaining scalable, event-driven systems in production.
- Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and architecture best practices.
Architecture & Leadership Skills
- Strong grasp of software architecture, design patterns, and scalability principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers.
- Skilled in translating business requirements into high-impact engineering solutions.
- Effective communicator who drives clarity, alignment, and constructive collaboration.

Compensation
- USA Compensation Range: $130,000 - $190,000* *Note actual compensation is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
