The Role:

As a Staff Product Analyst in the Food Systems Alliance, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we design and personalize our menu to better meet customer needs. Working in the close collaboration with Product and Data Science teams, you’ll help drive strategy and decision-making around menu planning and personalization — uncovering actionable insights that directly impact the customer experience.

We aim to ensure every customer finds meals that suit their tastes and preferences while optimizing internal operations and product scalability. Your work will support this vision by identifying opportunities to personalize the menu experience and maximize customer coverage through rigorous data exploration, experimentation, and metric development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Leads and Owners to comprehend the strategic priorities for your domain, subsequently executing against these with engaging work.
  • Partner closely with Product Owners, Data Scientists, Data and Software Engineers, fostering a culture rooted in evidence-based decision-making.
  • Explore and analyze customer behavior and product performance data to come up with compelling insights that influence roadmap decisions and improve how we cover customer needs with our menu
  • Communicate actionable insights clearly across the organization, highlighting the implications of your analyses to drive business growth.
  • Guide and mentor other Product Analysts within our team, defining best practices and providing support to enhance individual and team effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a quantitative field (e.g. computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics).
  • Extensive experience in quantitative analysis, including at least five years working closely with product teams.
  • Expert-level SQL and advanced Python skills for analysis and manipulation of large datasets.
  • Extensive experience with A/B testing — from setup to interpretation and deep dives on impact.
  • Experience applying advanced analytical approaches and statistical analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency in data visualization (Tableau or similar) with ability to tell clear, impactful stories.
  • Outstanding communication skills: able to frame complex business problems analytically and present findings with clarity.
  • Demonstrated leadership through project ownership, mentorship, or people management.
  • Outcome-oriented, with a track record of generating insights that drive alignment and business value.
