A Staff Product Manager at HelloFresh is a product leader. They work within a tribe and across tribes to solve highly unique, ambiguous and complex problems, applying appropriate best practices while understanding the appropriate value, usability, feasibility, and business viability risks. 

As a Staff Product Manager in Assortment Tribe, you'll step into a leadership role within our Food Alliance, working on cutting-edge solutions that redefine how our physical product teams plan and develop our assortment for millions of customers worldwide. Join us in shaping the future of e-commerce in the food industry, where you'll play a pivotal role in establishing a new generation of assortment success metrics and incorporating science into our systems and ways of working. This is a strategic role given the importance of creating a better assortment for HelloFresh, and presents a powerful opportunity to redefine the data and technology solutions that our physical product teams across 18 countries and 8 brands at HelloFresh Group use.

What you’ll do
  • Articulate a long-term vision and become the hands-on expert for our assortment planning domain
  • Apply product management best practices to discover and prioritize opportunities and customer problems to create a technology roadmap and 1-3 years strategy plan
  • Enable one of the top 5 HelloFresh Groups commercial strategies by shaping the metrics and systems for developing, managing and planning our physical products
  • Collaborate with Data Analysts and Scientists, Engineers and UX counterparts across multiple teams and senior business stakeholders to scope solutions and deliver customer and business impact
  • Be part of the Food Alliance leadership team and influence the overall product & strategic direction of our internal assortment systems and data
  • Utilize a data-driven approach and apply logical frameworks and appropriate structuring techniques to simplify complex and multifaceted problems
What you’ll bring
  • Experience in building and managing either B2C, B2B or data products preferably in e-commerce, food, or a related industry 
  • Proven track record of working with data science, analytics and engineering teams to solve complex customer problems and deliver products from concept to launch
  • Desire and motivation to work in an ambiguous opportunity domain without a clear overarching solution and solid skills to independently define strategies 
  • You foster a data-driven mindset and are an absolute role model when it comes to leveraging company and industry-wide qualitative and quantitative data, to analyze, validate, and evolve opportunities
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and influencing cross-functional teams to achieve goals
  • An agile mindset, focused on continuous improvement and bringing products to live in an incremental way
