Our growing team now requires a communications professional dedicated to this practice. The role includes:

• Coordinating a publishing schedule, working with stakeholders across the security team, communications teams, legal, marketing and go-to-market functions
• Writing and editing threat advisories, blogs, social media content and presentations
• Measuring the impact of these publications

The role may also require additional writing and coordination duties as required by the broader security team. 

We are seeking candidates with:

• A passion for the cybersecurity domain, as demonstrated by previous published work, contributions to cyber security projects or completion of relevant training. 
• Excellent written communication and presentation design skills.
• An ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of integrity and discretion.

Project management skills and presenting skills are a bonus.

• You are perpetually curious and love to geek out and dive deep into the technical details.
• You write succinct texts with a defined audience and outcome in mind. You give critical and constructive feedback to the work of your peers, and make constructive suggestions on how to improve their work.

Below is the annual salary range for candidates located in Canada. Your actual salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, RRSP with a match, healthcare spending, telemedicine, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in Canada is between:$141,000—$211,000 CAD
