The RolePantheon is looking for an experienced Platform Edge Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced team that supports a platform serving billions of requests each month. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of traffic and integral features supporting our customers’ domains and TLS certificates. What you Need to Succeed- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong experience with GoLang
- Experience with CI/CD and test-driven development
- Proficiency in scalable software design for platforms
- Experience with a variety of data stores and database design
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure and how to build and deploy applications with them
- Understanding of Kubernetes and Terraform
- Experience with CDNs, edge logic, and caching
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with VCL
- Experience with Drupal or WordPress
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- A passion for technology and a strong curiosity for new ideas and methodologies
- The ability to lead technical discussions and drive architecture and design decisions
- Excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to convey complex technical information effectively to non-technical audiences
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work as part of a team

The Canadian base salary range for this position is between 150,000 - 190,000 CAD per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. At Pantheon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
