Our Opportunity:

Petabyte Technologies Inc is looking for a Staff Software Engineer at our facility in Plantation, FL to lead engineering in the design and build of robust, resilient products and services on a scalable platform.

What You’ll Do: 

• Define and communicate clear design patterns and coding standards.
• Guide and mentor engineers to deliver the best quality code.
• Build a culture of innovation through rapid prototyping and continuous delivery to Production.
• Instill engineering excellence in the team and have the drive to focus on scalability, resiliency, high availability and performance of applications.
• Architect and build production-ready code and champion CI/CD processes to ensure speed and quality.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field and 10 years of experience.
• Full term of experience must include: software development with Java or JavaScript or similar programming languages.
• Experience must include 5 years in: algorithms and data structures;
• Ability to define and communicate clear design patterns and coding standards;
• Working with Spring Framework ecosystem;
• Frontend web technologies and frameworks such as React or Angular;
• Working with databases systems; and
• Working with cloud software providers AWS or GCP.
