What is The Role

An exciting opportunity to support the GVP, Global Partner organization, in the strategy, vision, and execution of the organization to accelerate Elastic’s transformation. This role will play a key role in helping the organization focus on and achieve its most important goals in the coming years. In this role, you will think strategically and drive a strong agenda of accountability, execution, and delivery. Partnering with the Global Partner Leadership team, you will help to align and complete the team's objectives.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Working as a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with leadership, business partners, and several cross-functional teams (Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Technology, Strategy and Operations).
  • Demonstrating a strong executive presence in representing the organization and easily navigating from strategy to tactical issues.
  • LEAD the close collaboration with Field teams, ensuring successful communication and execution of Elastic partner strategy.
  • Provide effective counsel on complex organizational matters and projects.
  • Facilitate effective decision-making. Identify and tackle ad-hoc strategic projects from defining new opportunities to executing key initiatives.
  • Lead strategic projects to help advise growth planning and operationalize select key initiatives.
  • Coordinate execution of crucial initiatives and programs.
  • Drive process improvement and simplification wherever possible
  • Liaise with the Finance Partner to develop the financial plan needed to support the annual plan and strategies, tactics, and resources necessary to achieve goals
  • Help to create operational cadence and then track high-level organizational goals and accountable owners with monthly and quarterly reviews and checkpoints
  • Scale: Build, with scale in mind, how the Partner org operates and ships from strategy to execution while being efficient, organized, and solution-oriented. Identify and find efficiencies in how the cross-functional teams operate and prioritize.
  • Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive GPS strategy aligned with the organization's partner sales objectives and company priorities. Collaborate with senior management to define objectives and key results, establish measurable goals, and clear GPS priorities.
  • Team Leadership: Champion a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, encouraging innovation and professional growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the connective tissue between regional partner teams, partner operations, and finance teams Act as the right hand to the GVP and help develop the vital strategies to achieve ever-increasing targets Forecast, measure, analyze, and report on the impact of GPS on sales pipeline, revenue, and conversion against the agreed pipeline goals
What You Bring
  • 15 years of professional experience, 3+ years experience with C-level executives
  • 3+ years of Elastic tenure, strong connections with SLT Award-winning partnership leader MBA highly desirable
  • Known for being able to prioritize your tasks in an ever-changing, dynamic environment where no day is like the previous.

  • The courage to voice an alternative point of view with senior executives Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and passion

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component, that together comprise the On-Target Earnings (OTE).  On-Target Earnings (OTE) are based on a 70/30 pay mix (base salary / target variable).  

The typical starting OTE range for new hires in this role is listed below.  This range represents the lowest to highest OTE we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.  

An employee's position within the OTE range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program.  Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.
